Respironics

Background
A world leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of products for the respiratory care and sleep markets, Respironics required marketing support for various national and international projects. Hare Carding (HC) was recommended to Respironics by another client - Omron.


Project Objectives
To position Respironics as the UK’s leading provider of respiratory care solutions
Develop a clear marketing strategy, in conjunction with the sales department, to develop Respironics’ portfolio of products
To manage PR and assist with internal communications in support of two re-branding exercises over four years
Manage the day-to-day activities usually associated with an in-house marketing department


Our Solution
It was clear from our early discussions with Respironics that they needed not only strategic consultancy services but also marketing tacticians. HC has therefore provided a retained service, operating as an external marketing department to the team based in West Sussex.

Liaising with the UK-based sales team, HC devised and implemented marketing activity at both corporate and product levels across the company’s specialist healthcare markets. Work included a wide variety of services from public relations to media planning, DM campaigns and exhibition support.

The sales teams have reported a significant increase in awareness amongst the target market, with a greater understanding of key capabilities and product benefits.
